BOARD, AUXILIARY & TEAM STAFF MEMBERSHIP


FOR THE VOLUNTEER BOARD, AUXILIARY & TEAM STAFF MEMBERS ONLY!
This webpage is designed to provide information about the SOUTH GATE YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM for all Board of Directors, Auxiliary Members and Team Staff.  We are all VOLUNTEERS in this non-profit youth organization. All those who require an OEC ID Badge must submit the requirements of SGYF/OEC Membership and complete as soon as you are approved or upon your assignment. THE DEADLINE FOR THE COMPLETION OF MEMBERSHIP IS SUNDAY-JULY 14, 2019 (Physical Day). Without this you cannot be approved to participate as a member in the SGYF/OEC organization or be a volunteer on the field of practices or games:

  1. All Members must complete an OEC VOLUNTEER APPLICATION...
  2. From this form a background check will be submitted (Online) via the Vice President of Administration. All members must clear an OEC-POP WARNER BACKGROUND CHECK.
  3. All Members must complete the MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION, available at our Open Registration events or you can download & print a copy here at the forms below; and Payment of Membership Dues of $30 per member.  Membership dues pays for the following: (1) the OEC Background Check ($10), (2) the exclusive SGYF Board & Team Staff Member T-Shirt ($10-$12), and (3) OEC ID Badge ($10). 
  4. All Members must "review and sign" the ANNUAL MEMBER CONTRACT AGREEMENT, this form is available at our Open Registration events or you can download a copy here at the forms below.
  5. Executive Board, Auxiliary Members (Head Coaches, Team Managers & other leadership Directors) must "review and sign" a separate Head Coach & Team Manager, Executive Board & Auxiliary Member or a Team Staff Contract Agreement
  6. Purchase an SGYF UNIFORM POLO for the New Year. We try and hold onto a uniform polo look for at least 7-10 years. Please see the "MEMBER FORMS & HANDOUTS" below to download, print and submit your order for a uniform polo if you do not have one from last year or wish to purchase an additional one. All members must be in uniform by the first game (Aug-24-2019). It is preferred, in the case of duplicate teams within a division, I.E., 2-flag teams, or other; one will be named the Red team and the other named the Black team. Red is the preferred color polo for the designated Red team, Black is the preferred color polo for the designated Black team.
