HOW CAN WE HELP YOU REDUCE YOUR FEES?...
The SOUTH GATE YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER PROGRAM is a non-profit organization dependent upon participation fees (40%) and program fundraisers (60%) from the opportunities through our fireworks stand, snack bar operations (at home and now at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum), marketing and solicitations for corporate donations as well as OEC Playoff Games throughout the year. WE ARE A BUSINESS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS and the working Board Members of this organization help support the goals and objectives in sustaining our business of providing a youth sport program for boys and girls ages 5-13. We are dedicated in providing the "best" experience for our young student-athletes and as much opportunity as we can provide them.

Because we are also "working" adults with a family, a job and a home to take care of, we recognize the struggles in these economic times of our families. We work hard to stay within our budget (registration fees) even though our costs has increased throughout the years in everything from administrative supplies, supplies for our teams, snack bar operations, facilities use, uniform and equipment upkeep and purchases, and so on. Football and Cheerleading is not a CHEAP youth sport activity. Although we are now almost 10-months of participation through pre-season practices, conditioning, training and in passing league competition through regular season practices, training and end with our cheer competition season...we operate exclusively on funds raised through our registration fees and with the hope and prayer of successful fundraising opportunities. 

WE WANT AS MANY YOUTH AS WE CAN ACCEPT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS "TRUE FAMILY ORIENTED" PROGRAM...SOMETHING FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY...Mom, Dad, Boys & Girls! And we know that participation in our program comes with a price and an investment into cheerleader uniforms and outside competition participation; BUT, in the end, you cannot put a price on the most wonderful experiences your child will have whether it is in football or in cheer throughout the 10-months that we operate. Bringing-up children in today's society also means keeping them involved in meaningful programs that can help nurture a strong foundation for future success in sports and in life!---and as a youth sport program this is our mission! Since 1990 and for the past 30 years we have served a "generation" of youth in this community and we are very proud to see many of our former players and cheerleaders return to our program with children of their own! 

So....because of all of this and again we want to HELP OUR PARENTS keep their children in our program and continue to grow and develop as young adults who are academical sound students---in which we also support through our Scholastic Recognition Program---as well as being physically fit and athletically capable to move on to high school, college and beyond...WE HAVE DESIGNED SEVERAL PROGRAMS IN WHICH TO HELP YOU, THE PARENT, REDUCE YOUR OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAM!...

SPONSORSHIP LETTER
Our Sponsorship Letter is an official letter of solicitation to local businesses. Give this to your employer, your dentist, your doctor, your favorite local business, family & friends. Every little bit helps!

EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT
Pay your child's Registration Fee in full on or before Saturday-April 27, 2019 and you will be allowed a $25-discount. 


CANDY BAR PROGRAM
We offer you the opportunity to purchase a
 box of World's Finest Chocolate Bars (WFC), whereby we collect your purchase fee of $30/case of 60-bars, we will pick-up the product and deliver them for you to pick-up at the next Open Registration event. You sell the chocolates, collect $60, roll over $30 to purchase another case of chocolates, or reimburse yourself for the initial investment, pay $30 towards your child's registration fee. This opportunity is offered March 11-May 18. You must prepay for each case of chocolates you order, we will pick-up every Wednesday afternoon for delivery to you at practice that same evening.  


KICK-OFF RAFFLE
Lastly, we offer you the opportunity to raise up to $200 through the sales of Kick-Off Raffle Tickets...it's NO COST TO YOU! We provide a free raffle, free tickets! WIN-WIN! You sell the ticket's to reimburse yourself for registration fees already paid, or use it to pay towards the balance of registration fees, spirit pack or even cheerleader uniform fees. Raffle Tickets will be available for pick-up at our APRIL 27, 2019 Open Registration event.
