AZTECS JOIN POP WARNER!

WED-FEB-21-2018
Today the Aztecs Youth Football & Cheer Program made the official move to Pop Warner as a member of the Orange Empire Conference (OEC). A decision which did not come easy. Please read our OPEN LETTER TO PARENTS posted here and on our
FACEBOOK...

"As difficult a decision as this was to make, we had to consider what was best for the continued growth and development of our teams; a conference that could provide ample competition for both our football and cheer teams. OCJAAF has been our home conference since we began in 1990 and for varying unfortunate reasons this conference has seen a decline of chapter membership. We have been able to develop our program through the guidance of OCJAAF leadership throughout the years and will forever be grateful for this relationship and the many friends we have made along the way."

"This change comes with the complete support of our board and coaches, for whom without their commitment and support to our program; we would not have been able to make this possible."

THE HISTORY OF SOUTH GATE POP WARNER...Pop Warner is a changed program from when South Gate originally participated in the 1960's through the 1980's. Back in the day we were called the South Gate Rams, but we wore "silver & black" like the Raiders! Youth football & cheer has come a long way since then and we are proud to continue these traditions!
