NEW ID VERIFICATION IN 2023!

WHAT IS THE CALIFORNIA "REAL ID"...

2023 SEASON WILL NOW REQUIRE THIS DOCUMENT IN PLACE OF AN ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. 

Youth Football Conferences throughout the state are requiring the use of the Calfornia REAL ID as the only form to verify a players'/cheerleaders' age. Once certified, the age document verification will no longer be required, except when there is a change to the original data, such as residential address on the ID Card, the document will be good for as long as the player/cheerleader participates in the SGYF/OCJAAF&C Program. 

REAL ID ACT? 
Beginning May 2023, the federal government will require your driver's license or identification card to be REAL ID compliant if you wish to use it as identification to board domestic flights or senter secure federal facilities that require identification.

NOTE TO PARENT:
Your child's REAL ID application must be made sooner, rather than later. Although it is our goal to have everyone on the same documentation, we understand there may be some delays in this process. So please be sure to communicate any issues about delays so that we can still have time to obtain an original birth certificate while you are in this process of obtaining the California Real ID for your child/children.
